The International Green Energy Council (IGEC), Washington, is presently taking applications for its International and National Board of Directors. Elections will take place in November 2015 and nomination applications will be accepted until Oct. 15, 2015.
An announcement from Ralph Avallone, Secretary General, IGEC, states, “Our organization has grown incredibly over the last eight years since I founded it and has now become one of the leading organizations in the World representing energy policy and environmental stewardship.”
The IGEC is an educational and advocacy body. It pride itself on educating from kindergarten students all the way up to leaders of nations about energy efficiency, environmental stewardship and renewable energy. The group also aids international leaders on creating sound policy and regulatory atmospheres in order to promote expeditious applications for renewable energy and green technologies.
The IGEC is a professional association comprised of individuals and companies that promote "green" (sustainable) forms of energy production, renewable energy sources, sustainable design practices and advanced thinking in utilizing education and information for the promotion of being better stewards of our environment.
