T&M; Associates, Middletown, New Jersey, has added Chris Jaquet, PE, to lead its national solid waste services business.
A former area manager with Phoenix-based Republic Services, Jaquet brings an owner’s perspective, having overseen operation of Republic’s eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania territories, according to T&M; Associates. Jaquet will provide advisory and technical services to help public and private clients address their transfer, disposal, recycling, composting and recovery challenges through economical and reliable solutions that will improve operational efficiency. He will be based in T&M;’s Cleveland office.

Jaquet offers clients strong technical expertise paired with a thorough understanding of operations and financial risk management, as well as a broad background in landfill permitting, design, construction and quality assurance, T&M; says. He has a proven track record in maintaining compliance with strict regulatory requirements while meeting or exceeding goals for operational optimization for landfills ranging in size from 150 tons to 5,800 tons per day.

Jaquet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a registered professional engineer in Michigan. Prior to his nine years at Republic Services, he spent eight years as a consultant to a number of solid waste clients throughout the Midwest region.
