The event featured 13 machines, 36 classroom sessions, service training, and countless personal product tours of Doppstadt, Backhus, Backers, Tiger and Harvest Quest. Attendees from North America and beyond gathered in the exhibit hall on the evening of April 15 for a party that included live music and Irish dancers.

The Ecoverse Showcase was an event to portray where it all began, how Ecoverse has grown as a company throughout the years and the direction the company is heading in for the future, the company says.

Shane Donnelly, co-owner of Ecoverse, says that in addition to a strong contingent of Doppstadt employees, the show welcomed people and equipment vendors from England as well as from Kiverco in Ireland, Heinz Backers in Germany, and Backhus and Cesaro in Italy.

The three-day event covered a range of topics including food waste depackaging and removal of plastic; anaerobic digestion; reduction of odors from compost; remediation of drill cuttings-hydraulic and technical equipment training. Industry leading speakers included: Tom Kirkland of Bay Mulch; Bob Yost of A1 Organics; Matt Biegler of Compost USA; Darren Midlane of Harvest Quest; Renato Contipelli of Quasar AD Systems; Mitch Kessler of Kessler Consulting; and Bruce Sandau and Jim Dalton of Green Earth.

Ecoverse says it looks forward to hosting more showcases. A video from the event is available at www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcavNkujoTw.
