The Nov. 16-19 event features a public planning workshop, two days of in-depth programming and tours of the Harvest Power facility.
The Recycling Today Media Group, publisher of Renewable Energy from Waste magazine have announced that the Renewable Energy from Waste (REW) Conference will be in Orlando, Florida, in 2015.
Now in its third year, the REW Conference has become firmly established as the premier event for the rapidly developing and dynamic waste conversion industry. No other conference delves as deeply into the public and private sectors of this industry, offering deep insights into technology, markets and real world application.
This year’s conference is Nov. 16-18 at the Caribe Royal Hotel in Orlando.
Produced in cooperation with Gershman, Brickner & Bratton (GBB), Farfax, Virginia, the REW Conference is designed to broaden attendees’ understanding of waste conversion technologies as well as market trends critical to the development of new projects. Over the course of two days of educational sessions, Nov. 17 and 18, attendees will hear from more than 30 experts who will share case studies and real-world experience in planning, financing and implementing projects.
Anaerobic digestion, engineered fuel, mixed-waste processing and biofuels production are just some of the technology areas that will be addressed. Outlooks for specific areas of the waste conversion industry, including biogas and gasification also will be shared.
“REW Conference organizers have listened to the feedback of previous attendees and have worked to develop a robust program to address their needs,” says Kristin Smith, editor of REW magazine. “This year’s conference builds on the successful programming of previous years by providing more market-driven information, expanded tour capacity and a preconference workshop dedicated to public-sector planning for waste conversion projects.”
