Q: What energy sectors or processes do you specialize in and why?

A: Eisenmann specializes in a wide variety of industrial technologies, such as paint finishing systems, product conveyor systems, high-temperature processes and environmental technology, including air pollution control systems and biogas plants. The biogas plants, which produce renewable energy from waste, use a two-stage anaerobic digestion process to convert organic waste material into biogas. The biogas can then be converted into electric and thermal energy or cleaned up to be used as a compressed natural gas. Eisenmann believes this technology has environmental and economical advantages in such industries as food processing, waste management and agriculture. Market drivers include high energy and disposal costs, organics diversion and greenhouse gas reduction.


Q: What new projects or systems have you been focusing on this year?

A: Eisenmann has been focusing on the high-solids anaerobic digestion system, with the belief that there is a fit for this type of renewable energy technology across many industries, including waste management, municipal solid waste, food processing, agriculture and others with large organic waste streams.


Q: What makes you different from your competitors?

A: With projects around the world and across industries, Eisenmann has the expertise to complete any project to exceed customer specifications. The Eisenmann biogas plant is the most robust high-solids system in the industry. The anaerobic digester is continuous and automated, capable of handling a large variety of feedstocks and has a small footprint.


Q: Where do you see your company five years from now?

A: Looking forward, Eisenmann will continue to be a brand that is relied upon for many industrial technology applications. As the market for biogas and anaerobic digestion continues to grow in the U.S., Eisenmann will be a market leader, known for its innovative technology as well as industrial services.
