Energy Investors Funds (EIF), which is the majority owner of the three renewable energy firms, Landfill Energy Systems, Innovative Energy Systems and Timberline Energy, has decided to consolidate the three companies under the name Aria Energy.

Aria Energy’s portfolio of energy projects provides baseload renewable energy to utilities and other customers across the United States. The newly named company is headquartered in Novi, Michigan.

Richard DiGia, president and CEO of Aria Energy, says, “We are entering a new chapter of growth as we continue to develop, own and operate renewable energy projects across the country. This consolidating change in our corporate and brand name better reflects our position in this industry and the degree of integration we have achieved. Our focus on owning, operating and developing long-lived energy projects that deliver stable long-term cash flows remains the same. We look forward to continuing to execute our growth and development strategy under our new name – Aria Energy.”

Aria Energy owns and/or operates a diversified portfolio of renewable energy projects across 16 states, collectively representing 265.9 MW-equivalent of baseload renewable energy capacity.

The company owns 35 projects that produce electricity or pipeline-quality renewable natural gas. Additionally, the company provides operations and maintenance services to nine projects owned by third parties.
