Waste-to-Resources 2015 scheduled for May 5-8 in Hanover, Germany.
The organizers of Waste-to-Resources 2015 are billing it as “the world’s leading conference on mechanical and biological waste treatment (MBT) and material recovery facilities (MRFs).” The conference is May 5-8 in Hanover, Germany.
Previous versions of the event drew participants from more than 40 countries, according to conference organizers Wasteconsult International and ASA GmbH.
Speakers from 17 countries will offer presentations at the event, with topics including:
• waste management strategies and new waste treatment technologies;
• anaerobic digestion of organic waste fractions;
• practical experience, optimization and new developments;
• functionality, economic efficiency and life cycle balance;
• energy recovery by refuse-derived fuel power plants and cement kilns, plus liquefaction;
• conditioning, use and sale of output fractions from mechanical and biological treatment; and
• hydrothermal carbonization (HTC)
There will be simultaneous translation of the presentations in English, German and French, according to Wasteconsult and ASA.
