FieldAware, Plano, Texas, a company specializing in made-for-mobile, cloud-based field service automation solutions, has launched a product for the waste management industry that it says is designed to increase productivity in the field and improve customer service while maximizing revenue potential.

FieldAware mobile apps connect workers in the field with back office systems to reduce paper-based and administrative processes and to improve accuracy.

The company demonstrated its mobile solution for the waste management industry for the first time at Waste Expo 2015, which was June 2-4 in Las Vegas.

“Service businesses are complex, and applications in the waste management field are diverse,” says Lynn Jones, vice president, marketing at FieldAware. “People, processes and systems must work together like a well-oiled machine to optimize the business’ productivity, customer service and profits.”

She adds, “With unlimited custom configurable fields and easy integration with back office accounting and custom systems, our solution can accommodate any waste management application or business process.”

FieldAware’s solutions provide field personnel with mobile tools on any smartphone or tablet. Its Web-based back office functions are built on a flexible, cloud-based architecture that enables connection at anytime from anywhere, according to the company. FieldAware’s software integrates with the leading customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and accounting systems and with a business’ custom back-office applications.

FieldAware says its Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboards give customers real-time, actionable insight into their business operations. With this new tool, the company says it helps customers discover the best opportunities to capitalize on and the most pressing challenges to resolve.

BI Dashboards will initially offer 15 prepackaged dashboards with what the company describes as easy-to-use filters for customization. Predesigned dashboards contain key business indicators, including job profitability, employee utilization and more. Managers can drill down to the raw data in one click, according to the company.

FieldAware says its software is easy to use and built to be flexible. The native mobile platform works seamlessly with a business’ existing applications, the company adds.

FieldAware is based in Plano and in Dublin, Ireland, with offices in Chicago, London and Sydney. More information is available at www.fieldaware.com.
